Pre-qualification
For the curious. Pre-qualification is a casual step to help determine if you qualify for a mortgage loan. With only a soft credit inquiry, you can get prequalified to sign a contract with us.
Pre-approval
For the serious. The documents you gathered come into play here, and your credit will be fully evaluated. Gaining a loan pre-approval letter is the first official step toward buying a home.
Approval
Almost home. Within 30 days of signing a contract with us, you’ll need to provide a binding loan commitment. This indicates that you’re fully approved and ready to take on your mortgage.
